As a young girl i grew up, knowing there is a God who watches over everything, a divine presence who planned every moment in life and listened when we knelt down to pray. Formore than forty years that belief was my comfort, my certainty and guide through life. But after years in religion, and deeper understanding of the God concept, i realised what happens behind the god concept, the suffering, random cruelity and even women being traded as sex slaves behind the God concept. The image of a all mighty deity fell apart.
It is not that i hate the idea of God, i have been through that door and i know it more than human words can explain. Call me names! It is that i see no eveidence of one who deserves to be worshiped.
As an athiest i no longer look for answers upon the sky, i outlook the sky deity. To the universe itself it existed billion years before any God and religion was imagine and it will exist long after our myths fade. The universe doesn’t demand worship and obedience, human body or blood or organs!
The universe is vast, indifferent and beautiful in its own way. Once you learn how to meditate or quite the mind and truly sychronize with the power of the universe, you begin to see that we never needed a God to feel peace or purpose. The universe hold more power and wisdom than any doctrine ever could. It moves, breaths and creates without judgemnt or control. when we align with that energy and true self, you realise the God concept was designed to limit and control.
The god concept as powerful as it sounds, has too been a tool for manupilation, brutal attacks rather than enlightenment.
To me the power of the universe, its mystery and endless possibilities, gives me a sense of connection far deeper than any religion or Gods!
The universe itself has no god but it have its own laws, quiet and unbreakkable truths that shape everything that exists. The more we learn to align with those laws, the more harmony we find within ourselves and the world around us! The universe doesn not judge but it teaches, it may reward understanding and humility!
